Sypheria The Book

My novel, Sypheria, is a heart racing thriller that will make Americans take a second look at what they stand for, it burns the fires of liberty inside them, and make them evaluate what is truly worth fighting for.
Pronounced (sy-fear-ia), the name is a derivative stemmed from the word “Seraph” in the bible, Isaiah 6:2-6:7. “Above him were Seraphs, each with six wings, with two wings that covered their faces, two that covered their feet, and with two they were flying."
Sypheria is a book that takes readers into a non stop, gut wrenching, high intensity journey on American and foreign soil from start to finish. Identified by levels instead of chapters, for the constantly rising intensity and complexity of the story, Sypheria is sure to be a change up from the normality of what people are reading these days.
Taking place in the year 2010, an attack on America has once again occurred but now in a much more treacherous and devious way. Not nuclear or chemical weapons but something much more devastating long term, pure fear. Osama Bin Laden once said, terrorism is our goal, and it is not just the destruction aspect, the destruction is good, but if we can make them fear and crawl like animals and disrupt their way of living we will win this war!
A series of attacks aimed to make the souls of the American people shutter has the country in turmoil. A group named “Sypheria”, who had been retired for the past five years, the government’s best from each branch of the military, decides themselves to take action and arises when the time for them is needed.
Sypheria helps to restore order but they soon discover that the American President is no longer capable of running the country and decide to take action themselves.
They begin hunting down all the suspected Al Qaeda cells in America but become fugitives themselves because it’s not the politically correct thing to do in the eyes of the current administration.
They discover a nuclear bomb in the possession of one of the cells and stop the plot and kill the members before they can conduct their symphony of destruction.
Sypheria are now viewed as heroes in the public eye and there is even mention of a third party developing in the country, The Sypherian Party.
 The Sypherians travel to the Hindu Kush Mountains in Afghanistan and capture Osama Bin Laden themselves in one year’s time.
  By the time they return home they find themselves thrown into a civil war that’s occurring in the states and a horrific group called The Amontants has risen up promising restoration but as they themselves reveal they are what was known before hand as the shadow government. The repercussions of citizen’s disobedience to their charismatic leader ends not just in bloodshed but in terrifying displays of power and merciless killings and examples to be seen by all.

  Fear from the foreign invaders and terrorists now seem like a distant memory and the people would much rather deal with that then this new, oppressive, and brutal army which is close to seizing power, with such quotes to the president like “We are the ones who put you in and we are the one who will now take you out.”
   Sypheria has no choic but to cease power declaring this the U.S.S.A, “The United Sypherian States of America , and struggle to maintain power and to show the people the true meaning of their slogan and life saying, “May Providence Prevail.”
